Pete Cobb is a native of the Twin Lakes area with over
30 years as a full time guide on the White River. He specializes in artificial baits, his
favorite is the white jig. In the March 2002 edition of Field and Stream John Merwin calls
Pete The Jig Man of Arkansas. Pete was also featured in Steve Wright's book Ozark Trout
Tales as a master jig fisherman. Pete has also been featured in articles in newspapers such as Tulsa World, North Arkansas
View, and The Kansas City Star just to name a few. Pete is not only a great artificial baits fisherman, he is also a great bait fisherman when the
situation demands it. Pete Cobb definitely qualifies under our definition of What Makes A Great Guide Great.
